"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will hit theaters on Dec.18 and one of the franchise's beloved characters, C-3PO, may have a makeover. A sighted merchandise from the film suggests that C-3PO may have a red arm in the movie.
A new merchandise has popped up depicting C-3PO with R2D2, and according to Making Star Wars, the walking skinny gold-plated robot is sporting a red arm. The image was seen on a soda can sold in Mexico.
This was the second time that a red-armed C-3PO has been spotted. The same source previously found other movie merchandise products bearing some characters. Printed on a table is a similar photo on the soda can, only this time, the "Star Wars" title is not blocking the shoulder area connecting the red arm on C-3PO.
So far, there is no way to confirm whether or not the products are legitimate depictions of the character from "The Star Wars: The Force Awakens." But there is one more set of merchandise that have been sighted, this time for a LEGO set. According to IGN, LEGO will be bringing a line for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
