One of the recent NBA trade rumors claims that the Oklahoma City Thunder will not trade point guard Russell Westbrook no matter what happens to former NBA Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant who will stay as a free agent in 2016.
With Durant, the Oklahoma City Thunder appears to have competition as the Washington Wizards and the Miami Heat are reportedly looking forward to having the former MVP,Sports World Report has learned.
Durant was the second NBA star to break the MVP award winning streak of LeBron James, who won the award in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013. The award was given to Derrick Rose in 2011 and to Durant in 2014.
It is yet to be confirmed if Westbrook will stay in the Oklahoma City Thunder. Amid all recent the NBA trade rumors, Westbrook is expected to reunite with Kevin Love as they both join the Los Angeles Lakers in 2016, according to Crossmap.
Westbrook, Durant and Love are all 26 years old.
Meanwhile, aside from basketball, Westbrook apparently loves pop songs, as well. On Memorial Day weekend, he shared a video of his own rendition of "Bad Blood" with a caption, "BAD BLOOD!!!! @taylorswift .. Banger!!!!!"
From Swift's "1989" album, "Bad Blood" features Kendrick Lamar. Joining its music video stars are Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Martha Hunt, Jessica Alba, Serayah, Lena Dunham, Hailee Steinfeld, Elie Goulding, GiGi Hadid, Hayley Williams, Zendaya, Lily Aldrige, Ellen Pompeo, Mariska Hargutay, Cara Delevingne and Cindy Crawford.
Three weeks after the "Bad Blood" music video was published on YouTube, it has received more than 162 million views.
