A hefty quantity of screenshots of the upcoming video game "Dark Souls 3" was leaked recently. The leak was released by a YouTube user using the handle The Know.
Based on the video, "Dark Souls 3" will be launched on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platform in 2016. The game's developer From Software and Bandai Namco has yet to confirm whether the game will be ported to the PC platform.
Once the game is released, it will feature 10 playable character classes with a wide array of in-game items including 100 new weapons and 40 new pieces of armor. "Dark Souls 3" will also feature 45 new enemies and 15 new bosses. There is also a considerable amount of in-engine cut scenes reported to be around 60 minutes in total.
According to Express, the inclusion of longer cut scenes and 12 new areas will provide a more story-driven experience for "Dark Souls 3" gamers.
"Dark Souls 3" will also introduce a new gameplay system called Sacrifice Ceremonies. This new feature allows the player to drag around corpses of slain characters and use them as sacrifice for a ritual. Once the ritual is successful, it allows the player to "use that to break into their game and become a target for hunting."
Another gameplay system called Sword Fighting Arts will be introduced. According to the leaked video, attacks under the Sword Fighting Arts system are called Rush In where players can inflict massive damage to enemies at the expense of their own health.
The game will also support 1-4 players' multiplayer game with coop and PvP options.
Speculations surrounding the game claim that it will be unveiled at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015, according to Techno Buffalo.
