"Jake In Progress" star John Stamos is likely to appear in the upcoming sequel of 2002 hit flick, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding".
The 51-year-old actor, who is in Toronto recently for its shoot, teased his fans on Twitter about his possible role in the upcoming "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2".
"Can anyone figure out what movie i'm shooting here in Toronto??? (pics tomorrow) Hint GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK," tweeted the actor just after landing in the city. He later deleted the tweet but the snapshot of the same is available at The Pappas Post.
The actor further gave a sneak peek of the much awaited movie by sharing a photo of himself as 'Stavros', Uncle Jesse's relative from Greece who visited the original Full House series in a memorable episode.
The much awaited sequel of the hit movie showing adventures of the Portokalos family will hit the theatres in March 25, 2016. The sequel is expected to wrap production in Toronto at the end of June, Global News reported.
The addition of Stamos is not yet official. It appears though that the actor arrived in Toronto to join in the ongoing shoot, just two days after being arrested on the suspicion of driving under influence by Beverly Hills police.
Not much is known about the sequel, other than the fact that Nia Vardalos and John Corbett, who starred in the first film, will be back, reprising their roles. The producers are reportedly trying to reunite much of Portokalos family members.
Vardalos, who is also the script writer, indicated earlier that the sequel will not take the dark out route of divorce or family break-up. Rather it is likely to showcase the loud Portokalos family back again for another wedding while they are also dealing with an unearthed family secret, Cinema Blend reported.
