Apple iPhone 6 Plus was released in September last year and the release of Microsoft Lumia 940 XL is most awaited by mobile users since it is thought to come with excellent features.

Apple iPhone 6 Plus
The iPhone 6 Plus sports a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, GSM Arena reported. In addition, it has an ion-strengthened glass, oleophobic coating for its protection. The iPhone 6 Plus runs on Apple A8 chipset. Apple A8 inside the smartphone packs a dual-core 64-bit Cyclone processor clocked at 1.4GHz.
The main camera of iPhone 6 Plus is 8 MP with dual-LED (dual tone) flash, phase detection autofocus and optical image stabilization. In addition, the phone has a 1.2 MP secondary shooter with HDR and face detection.
The iPhone 6 Plus has predictive text input, iBooks PDF reader, a TV out and active noise cancellation. It costs around $299.99 to $749.76.
Microsoft Lumia 940 XL
The Lumia 940 XL will feature a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, WhaTech reported. It is expected that the smartphone will have a ClearBlack display technology which will give users the best image quality.
According to reports, the Lumia 940 XL will have the Snapdragon 810 chipset which comprises of 64-bit octa-core CPU. Furthermore, the forthcoiming device will have 3GB of RAM and a built-in storage of 32 GB plus a microSD slot.
The Microsoft Lumia 940 XL will feature a 20MP primary camera with panorama, face detection, geo-tagging, dual-LED flash, autofocus, optical image stabilisation and Carl Zeiss optics. It also has a 5 MP secondary camera for selfies and Skype video calls.
The phone will feature document viewer, active noise cancellation and wireless charging. It is expected that the Lumia 940 XL will cost higher than earlier releases. The handset will run on Windows 10 operating system.
