Latest "Falling Skies" season 5 spoilers revealed that the coming episodes will finally reveal what have happened to Tom Mason after the season 4 finale. Early this year, it has been announced that the TNT series has been cancelled because of its low ratings.
According to Spoiler TV, the premiere episode will focus on Tom's whereabouts during the 2nd Mass. Based on the official synopsis for episode 1, titled "Find Your Warrior," Tom's life was said to be fighting for his survival. While still in his space, he will reportedly get in touch with an unexpected guest. The website further speculated that the guest will be no other than his former wife Anne.
Screen Rant reported that a powerful ending is to be expected for "Falling Skies." During the recent London Comic Con, the cast hinted that some of the fan favorites will face an untimely death in season 5. It was also mentioned that the coming episodes will finally reveal why the aliens have chosen to inhabit Earth out of all the other planets. One of the main characters was said to have a surprising connection with the aliens which influenced the decision.
The production of "Falling Skies" season 5 wrapped up early January. The cast took to their respective Twitter and Instagram accounts to share how much they would miss the show. They also posted that they were proud of how the finale episode came together.
The final season of "Falling Skies" will air on June 28 at 10.pm. on TNT.
