"Disturbia" actor Shia LaBeouf has to be hospitalized following a massive head injury, while filming a movie in North Dakota.
Recent reports stated that the 29-year-old actor was filming a scene on the morning of Jue 24, Wednesday, for his upcoming movie "American Honey," when he was required to put his head through a glass window.
Something went wrong and the actor suffered deep cuts to the left side of his head and his right index finger. He was rushed immediately to a nearby hospital, where he received 20 stitches and 13 staples to his head and finger.
The actor was advised to take a mini break and will be back for the shoot today, his representative told TMZ.
LaBeouf's upcoming movie is also starring Arielle Holmes, McCaul Lombardi and Susan Dooling. Andrea Arnold-directed movie is about a teenage girl, who joins a travelling magazine sales crew to experience young love and wild partying ways as she cruises around with the misfit gang. The movie is likely to hit the theatres in the summer of 2016.
Earlier it was reported that the shooting of the movie was in full swing as the cast and crew was spotted scouting locations in Kansas City. The low-budget movie's cast had reportedly rented a family's front yard to film a make-out scene between the actor and the "Heaven Knows What" star.
According to The Kansas City Star, the cast and crew of the movie are travelling in a fleet of minivans, along with a truck with a portable toilet. They were spotted earlier in Muskogee, Oklahoma, where the actor indulged some fans by taking selfies with them.
