It seems that not everyone can get the new Microsoft products this month as Windows 10 and Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release are reportedly delayed.
Reports claimed that both Microsoft Surface and Windows 10 will arrive on July 29. However, according to CRN, the Windows 10 will be rolled out in stages and the staggered release will enable Microsoft to "listen, learn and update the experience".
The blog post from the company confirmed that the five million members of the Windows Insider program will be the first in line to receive the operating system.
"From there, we will start notifying reserved systems in waves, slowly scaling up after July 29th. Each day of the rollout, we will listen, learn and update the experience for all Windows 10 users. If you reserved your copy of Windows 10, we will notify you once our compatibility work confirms you will have a great experience, and Windows 10 has been downloaded on your system," the blog post wrote.
Meanwhile, there is reportedly some delay with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release. Various reasons were cited to be the cause of the delay like the recent release of a new variant Surface Pro 3 with i7 processor and Surface 3 with 4G LTE. Other reports claimed that the mass layoffs will also postpone the release of the much awaited laplet.
According to Seeking Alpha, Microsoft will go through another round of job cuts to reduce its alleged excessive work force. The company will reportedly use lesser employees to cut corners and take care of Microsoft's various business units like Bing, Skype, Office Business Intelligence, Azure and Surface Pro. Lesser employees also mean higher profits, but it also means that fewer people will be making the device.
However, Microsoft remained mum about the details of the upcoming device.
