"Mortal Kombat X" developer NetherRealm Studios recently announced that it will release the Predator bundle on July 7 for Kombat Pack owners and will be universally released on July 14. The announcement also unveiled the official Predator trailer which was released on YouTube.
The "Mortal Kombat X" Predator Bundle will add Predator as a playable character. It also contain new skins such as Carl Weathers as Jax, Infrared Scorpion and Commando Johnny, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.
Users who only want to purchase Predator separately, the content will cost $4.99. The Predator Prey Pack which contains the three new character skins costs $3.99, separately. According to VG24/7, buying the two bundles in one package will cost $7.99.
Aside from the new Predator Bundle, "Mortal Kombat X" developer NetherRealm Studios along with publisher Warner Bros. announced that a free downloadable content (DLC) will be made available to all "Mortal Kombat X" owners.
The official statement reads, "Starting July 7 to thank the fans, all Mortal Kombat X players will receive the Klassic Fatality Pack, giving access to four classic fatalities from the original Mortal Kombat including Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya and Johnny Cage as well as the Kold War Scorpion Skin for free."
A new "Mortal Kombat X" update will also roll out before the week ends. It contains patches for some reported bugs.
The new "Mortal Kombat X" Predator Bundle will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platform. No statement was released whether the new content will make its way to older generation consoles like the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
