Five-time Grand Slam tennis champ Maria Sharapova is euphoric these days. The 28-year-old Russian tennis ace beat Britain's Johanna Konta during the women's singles match of the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships in London. Sharapova's triumph over tough-playing 23-year-old US Open champ Coco Vandeweghe in Wimbledon underscored her winning streak. Up next is a face-off with Serena Williams in the Wimbledon semi-finals, and then the US Open that will unfold in New York.
Notwithstanding an intense training regimen, it is not all competition in the mind of the 6-foot-two stunner when she is on a tennis tour. As Sharapova wrote in her Instagram account, revisiting Paris is always a fun experience. During such quick, comfort breaks, especially during summer, the tennis champ has found time to stroll in the parks and admire the lovely landmarks.
