The highly anticipated “Mortal Kombat X” release for the last generation consoles, PS3 and Xbox 360 will more likely happen by the end of this year. Game developer NetherRealm has been delaying the “Mortal Kombat X” launch for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles more than once.
Early in June, reports surfaced pointing at a release date in June. However, the game is expected to be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 only by later this year, according to Latinos Post.
Rumor has it that the “Mortal Kombat X” PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will debut after the Tremor DLC is released. Tremor is the last in the Kombat pack, out of four DLCs announced during the game launch to follow the recently released Predator DLC. The first DLC pack added the iconic horror figure Jason Voorhees in May, with series veteran Tanya joining the game’s characters in June.
The Predator DLC will be available for $7.99 separately starting July 14, Tuesday. The Predator on his own will cost $4.99 with accompanying skins for $3.99, IGN reported.
Besides Predator the Developer also rolled out a Klassic Fatality Pack for the Kombat players that consist of fatalities by Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya and Johnny Cage.
According to various reports NetherRealm is also working on a Kombat Pack 2 to be released after Tremor DLC, which is expected to hit the consoles next month.
Nevertheless, there is no official word from NetherRealm about “Mortal Kombat X” release for PS3 & Xbox 360, or Tremor DLC or Kombat Pack 2 launch as of now.
