It is rumored that MacBook Air 2016 release will be in March 2016.
According to Venture Capital Post, the upcoming device is expected to be announced by Apple in October and will be released by March 2016.
It is packed with the latest hardware and that is one of the major reasons behind the delay in its release. MacBook Air 2016 is rumored to be equipped with Intel Skylake processor, which is the successor of the Broadwell processors from Intel, according to The Vine Report.
Skylake processor will make the device quite powerful in comparison to the previous Apple products. However, as they are still being manufactured so there is a slight possibility that the MacBook Air 2016 release may be delayed.
MacBook Air 2016 is also rumored to sport a much sleeker design than the 2015 version of the device. It is expected to boast of a Retina display which will be further equipped with a much higher resolution. In addition, it also provides a 178 degree view, which enables the screen to have a richer and more colorful display.
Apple is also expected to provide different size variants of MacBook Air 2016. The device may be available in 13-inch and 15-inch variants.
MacBook Air 2016 is also alleged to sport a reversible Type USB-C port which will be sporting Mag Safe and Lightning features. It is also rumored to be equipped with wireless charging option. Apple tried to explore this option with the current Apple Watch, but the idea was dropped at the last moment.
