Motorola's Moto X 2015 release is expected between August and October and the upcoming device will have numerous customization options.
Customization has been the unique selling point since Moto X first generation. Moto X 2015 is rumored to flaunt a wooden grain back panel made up of plastic or carbon fiber, according to Phone Arena. This cover could be customized in 17 color options, four wooden grains, five leather types and also an additional 10 accent colors.
It is also rumored that the much-anticipated Moto X 3rd generation device will come in two sizes. The first variant will be 5.2 inches long and the other will be 5.7 inches long. It will also retain the front facing speaker design which was also seen in the first generation of Moto X, according to Know Your Mobile
The device may feature a USB Type C connector, making it one of the high end phones in the market. It will however, not be equipped with a finger print scanner. Both the models are expected to sport AMOLED screens with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution.
It is rumored to have a 16 Megapixel rear camera and a 5 Megapixel front camera. It is expected to be powered with a battery capacity of 3280 mAh and 4 GB of RAM.
It is expected that the device will initially run with Android Lollipop 5.1 and will be upgraded to Android M. It will also feature the Moto Display notifications system and Motorola's signature Moto Wear app. With Snapdragon 810 SoC and a 4 GB RAM, the device is expected to run smoothly and provide no overheating issues.
