Legendary Pictures has already launched the San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive character art of Durotan and Lothar from the "Warcraft" movie.
The "Warcraft" film is written and directed by Duncan Jones, illustrating a movie about Orcs versus Humans origin story. It shows Lothar (the human) and Durotan (the Orc) go head-to-head, attempting to do what is right for their people, according to the director.
The epic adventure of world-colliding conflict is based on Blizzard Entertainment’s global phenomenon. It talks about the realm of Azeroth on the brink of war because their civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders, the Orcs.
These two armies facing two important situations: destruction and extinction. Each hero of the two armies collides in order to save their families, people and home. Warcraft is a saga of power and sacrifice in times of war, according to Slash Film.
Lothar, the human, is played by Travis Fimmel (best known for his character as Ragnar Lothbrok on the TV show Vikings). On the other hand, the orca Durotan who was CGI made will be played by Toby Kebbel (played the role of Koba in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes). The movie counterpart is co-written by Charles Leavitt, Game Spot reported.
Other casts of the epic film are Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Ben Schnetzer, Rob Kazinsky and Daniel Wu. Legendary’s "Warcraft" movie will be shown in 3D by Universal Pictures on June 10, 2016.
In addition, at San Diego Comic-Con, director Jones shared the image of a new prop for the film and film's first trailer.
