A new costume for The Flash has been unveiled at this month's "Arrow" and "The Flash" Comic Con display in San Diego.
According to Comic Book, the costumes of the two superheroes had minor tweaks and there are speculations that Grant Gustin's Barry Allen or The Flash and Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen or Arrow will be wearing the new attire in the upcoming season.
Barry's costume featured the logo on his chest with a new white background instead of the usual red background. This minor change made the character's overall look as The Flash look much closer to how he was portrayed in the comic books.
Meanwhile, also at the display was Jay Garrick's helmet, which was also featured during the season finale of "The Flash." Fans are now speculating that the creators of "The Flash" decided to display the helmet beside Barry's costume for a reason.
In other news, the title for the first episode of "The Flash" season 2 has already been revealed and it will be called "The Man Who Saved Central City."
According to Melty, there is a possibility that Barry will not be the one responsible for saving Central City especially since a lot of new characters will be introduced in season 2. The new superhero who will attempt to take Barry's place may be the same character wearing the black helmet in season 1.
Also according to the publication, Garrick is known as the fastest man to have ever been introduced in the DC comics. With this, his involvement in the upcoming instalment is something truly worth watching.
"The Flash" season 2 will premiere on the CW this coming October.
