New spoilers from the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" were recently teased at the San Diego Comic Con on July 12, Sunday.
According to Latin Post, the creators of the film unveiled new details about the plot and the characters. For one, it was teased the Hugh Jackman's Wolverine will be part of the film. However, it is quite clear that the actor will only make a cameo. After all, Jackman is currently preparing for his standalone movie in 2017.
Additionally, it was also revealed that Channing Tatum's role Gambit may make a cameo in "X-Men: Apocalypse." The same publication noted that Tatum was not present during the panel discussion at the San Diego Comic Con and said that this could be because he wants to surprise his fans with his appearance, Business Insider reported.
Meanwhile, it was also confirmed by director Bryan Singer himself that "X-Men: Apocalypse" will take place ten years after "X-Men: Days of Future Past." This means that all of the characters will appear in different worlds or dimensions, but all of them will be ultimately accepted by society.
In other news, the main villain for the upcoming "X-Men" movie has also been confirmed. Apocalypse himself will fight against some of the superheroes. However, Storm, Psylocke, Angel, as well as the other characters will be on his side. Oscar Isaac, who will be playing the role of Apocalypse, described the villainous character as a cult leader.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" stars Jennife Lawrence as Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers and more. The film is slated to hit theaters in the United States in 2016.
