Fans of "The Flash" are already looking forward to seeing four new characters on the CW series. As of late, the creators have already teased the inclusion of newbies Jay Garrick, Wally West, Patty Spivot and Zoom.
According to Design N Trend, the show has already tapped the actors who will play the respective roles. As of late, it has already been confirmed that Teddy Sears will play the role of Jay and actress Shantel VanSanten will play the role of Patty.
On July 12, Sunday, at the San Diego Comic Con, it was also confirmed that Jay will be the first character to have ever become The Flash, before the title was handed over to Barry Allen (Grant Gustin). In season one's finale episode, Jay's black helmet was already featured on the show.
Meanwhile, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg also spoke with Deadline about Jay's involvement in the series and said they decided to bring him into the story because fans have embraced the show so well.
Kreisberg also confirmed that Jay has only been portrayed in the comics as of late. However, their idea of bringing him to "The Flash" has already been discussed several times before.
In other news, Wally West, the first Kid Flash, will also make a debut in season 2. Later on in the series, Barry will also come face to face with his new enemy, Zoom. According to Kreisberg, Zoom will be much faster the The Flash.
"The Flash" season 2 will premiere on the CW in October.
