Video game company Supercell Games officially announced on July 15, Wednesday, that the "Clash of Clans" convention will push through on Oct. 24 at Helsinki, Finland. The place of the convention is where the company's headquarters is currently located.
It is only a matter of time when "Clash of Clans" fanatics will gather together to celebrate and unite, according to GameZone. The developer thought of having this formal assembly as CoC is considered one of the most popular freemium mobile games today.
Through this gathering, "lashers from all corners of the Earth, whether they came from different clan types and ranks, can meet each other and since this is the first of its kind," Supercell announced.
However, details are yet to be announced. As for the tickets, selling will start in less than ten days but the prices are still uncertain as of this time. Nevertheless, Supercell is guessing that the tickets will be sold out in no time once opened to the public.
Although the convention will revolve around the well-known game "Clash of Clans," the company might also showcase some of their freemium mobile games like Boom Beach and Hay Day, which generated them huge amount of revenues in 2013, according to Forbes.
Meanwhile, CoC fans received a great update early this month when the game company announced the release of "Dark Spell Factory." The update was finally unveiled after a series of sneak peeks for several days. The "Dark Spell Factory" will provide players with new Dark Spells: Haste, Earthquake and Poison.
These are the spells "powers:" Haste will speed up the movements of the player's attacking units; Earthquake will cause damage to all nearby structures like walls and buildings; while Poison will slow down and drain the health of active soldiers.
Aside from these three new spells, there is also a new Dragon level and an extensive overhaul to the game's competitive multiplayer. New leagues were introduced with Legend League Tournaments where top players can play new challenges and the final rankings will be featured in the Top Players tab and profile.
Moreover, the game's interface was also improved. New quick tabs were added to make some explorations easier. The Clan Chat can now be filtered by adjusting its settings and more languages are now supported with the addition of Arabic and Traditional Chinese.
With the continuous updates and exciting convention, Supercell's "Clash of Clans" is no doubt set to take the game to the next level "like never before."
