The much awaited Moto X 2015 and Moto G 2015 release will finally happen on July 28 as Motorola is sending out invites for a launch event.
It seems like the company is all set for its event to be held in New York, San Paulo, London and India on July 28. The company has even launched a micro site within the main website specifically for the event.
"We have some news to share, so tune in to find your perfect Moto match on July 28. Save the date — a better mobile relationship is headed your way," read the official blog.
The image in the blog post has the statement "Your relationship status is about to change. XGX, Moto." The "XGX" is said to hint at the two new smartphones Moto X and Moto G 2015 model, IBNLive reported.
The next generation of Moto G is speculated to be a major upgrade over its predecessor. The device will reportedly sport a 5-inch full HD display with a 720p resolution, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal memory.
The Moto G 2015, with model number AP3560AD1K8, is expected to feature 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, in comparison to the 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front snapper. Rumor has it that the new smartphone will debut in different versions of memory configurations and single and dual-SIM variants.
Moto X, on the other hand, is expected to be different in comparison to its predecessors and will possibly sport a 5.2-inch screen with 1080p resolution. The next generation device will pack a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and will be powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz processor.
Nevertheless, it is better to take these reports with a pinch of salt, as it is yet to be known what Motorola has in store to show at the speculated Moto X and Moto G 2015 release event.
