"Wreck-It Ralph 2" is happening and the 2012 animated film is returning to the voice of John C Reilly as Ralph. The sequel may feature some of famous Nintendo characters like Zelda, Link, Luigi and Mario, according to its director Rich Moore.
Reilly has confirmed that he signed the contract for the "Wreck-It Ralph 2." On the other hand, Sarah Silverman, who voiced Vanellope von Schweetz, has yet to confirm if she will be part of the film again.
From the game "Fix-It Felix," Ralph is the villain turned into a good guy with the help of Vanellope von Schweetz also known as The Glitch.
According to VCPost, Galway Film Fleadh had planned the movie's sequel right after the breakthrough of "Wreck-It Ralph." "Wreck-It Ralph 2" was planned to show Ralph exploring different arcade games.
It was said that Super Mario should be part of the first movie, but they just do not know how to incorporate him into the story. Moore is also planning to show Ralph on different gaming platforms such as home games, online gaming, mobile and many more, Crossmap reported.
"I am bad and that is good, I will never be good and that's not bad, there's no one I'd rather be than me," and "It's kind of hard to do your job when nobody likes you for doing it" are some of the fans' favorite lines from the first "Wreck-It Ralph" film, which earned $471 million worldwide against a $165 million budget.
Even adults liked "Wreck-It Ralph" because of the presence of numerous classic video game characters such as Pac-Man and Sonic the Hedgehog. There is no scheduled date yet for the said film, but fans are excited to see many new characters such as Mario and Luigi.
