The Los Angeles Clippers might have given their fans a lot of reasons to be optimistic for next season following arguably the most successful offseason in franchise's history, but the series of trades and free-agency signings has somewhat left Jamal Crawford dumb-founded about his future with the team.
The 35-year old Crawford had a sort of Q&A session on Twitter, when he was asked by a fan about his take on the Clippers' offseason coup.
The two-time Sixth Man of the Year apparently wasn't a fan of competing minutes with Lance Stephenson, Paul Pierce and Wesley Johnson, who are all brought in to add firepower to its bench.
Crawford, who averaged 15.8 points in 26 minutes per game last season, has been liked to several trade scenarios weeks before February's trade deadline, but his tweets in reaction to the Clippers' offseason maneuvers suggested that he's now open to change jersey next season.
The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat are thought to be the front-runners for Crawford's service once he hits the trading block. The Cavaliers have been aggressively shopping Brendan Haywood and his $10.5 million non-guaranteed contract while the Heat is trying to trade point guard Mario Chalmers and Shabazz Napier, per report by Barry Jackson of Miami Herald (H/T Hoops Rumors.com)

Jason Lloyd of Akron Beacon Journal believed the Clippers will eventually get rid Crawford's $5MM salary off the books as they look to lessen what is expected to be a massive luxury tax penalty.
"When all is said and done, the Clippers will flirt with $95 million in salary commitments for 2015-16, most likely putting them more than $10 million above the league's $84.7 million luxury-tax line. Dumping Crawford's $5.7 million pact would save them a boatload in penalties," according to Dan Favale of Bleacher Report.
