Starring Chris Evans, "Before We Go" marks "Captain America" star's directorial debut. The indie drama was acquired by RADiUS-TWC.
According to Movieweb, Evans takes a completely different character as shown in the first trailer of the movie "Before We Go." The trailer shows two strangers who find themselves stranded overnight in New York City. They become two acquaintances helping each other and moving in new respective directions of their lives.
Alice Eve as Brooke Dalton in "Before We Go" gets stranded in the Grand Central Station in New York. Her purse has been stolen so then Evans as Nick Vaughan helps her by going along with her for overnight before letting her go back home.
Evans portrayed a brand new character on his latest film "Before We Go." From a superhero image who breaks enemies' skulls, he transformed into a softer and an emotional trumpet performer, Daily Mail reported.
In 2000, Evans started his career being an actor being cast in the television series "Opposite Sex" as Cary Baston. Before he started directing his film, he played several roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe including the titled role in "Captain America" and Johnny Storm/Human Torch in "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" in 2007.
Evans' mother is an artistic director at the Concord Youth Theater. He also has two siblings who graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
"Before We Go" will officially hit selected theaters on Sept. 4, while "Captain America's" fans are waiting for the "Captain America: Civil War" in 2016. Watch "Before We Go" trailer here:
