Following the much awaited patch 1.07 release, CD Projekt Red is all set for “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” DLC update for Week 9, that will bring about new finishing animations for Geralt.
“Coming later this week: ‘New Finisher Animations’ the 15th FREE DLC. One more to go. What could it be? #TheWitcher,” tweeted CD Projekt Red.
The penultimate DLC, expected to be available on all platforms later this week, possibly by July 23, Thursday, is a pack of new finisher animations that will definitely add a little variety to the combat, PlayStation LifeStyle reported.
The upcoming DLC is the #15 out of the total 16 that was announced by the developer at the time of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” launch. The last DLC will be rolled out next week, and the CD Projekt Red is planning “to end on a high note.”
The previous free DLCs released since May includes different outfits for the characters Yennefer, Triss, Ciri and beard styles for Geralt, along with quests like Skellige’s Most Wanted quest, Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear Quest, Fool’s Gold quest, Missing Miners quest and the “Where the Cat and Wolf Play” quest, which was rolled out as Week 7 DLC.
“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” DLC campaign also consisted of a variety of armor sets such as Temerian Armor set, Skellige Armor set, Nilfgaardian Armor Set, and a Elite Crossbow set, GameSpot reported.
Besides the DLCs, CD Projekt Red is also working on a number of patches to be rolled out in future, fixing the bugs and improving the game performance. “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.07, that is available on all platforms, seems to negatively impact both PS4 and Xbox One versions’ frame rate. The developer has confirmed that the team is looking into the problem and will soon fix it.
