"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" reportedly cast Zack Snyder's son Eli to for the role of Robin.
According to Heroic Hollywood, one of the scenes in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will feature Joker killing the second Robin Jason Todd. This means that one actor is to be cast for the said role.
In a recent post, photographer Clay Enos shared a photo of the father-son tandem, which immediately led fans to speculate that Eli has been tapped to play the role of Robin. Several other publications noted that the actor is fit for the role because of his physique and talent.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Gal Gadot, who has been tapped to play the role of Wonder Woman, dished on why she is so excited to play the role of a superhero. According to her, she is very happy with Wonder Woman because this means she would not have to play the role of a damsel in distress.
Gadot added that she is looking forward to inspiring more and more women to become true to themselves without forgetting to keep their feet deeply planted on the ground, Interview Magazine reported.
The actress was recently involved in a controversy after one comic book writer criticized her for being cast as Wonder Woman. According to the writer, Gadot does not exemplify the real appearance of Wonder Woman as portrayed in the books. As of late, the actress has not responded regarding the issue.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on March 25, 2016.
