Apple is rumored to launch the iPad Mini 4 with major improvements alongside the iPad Air 3 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro at fall this year.
When Apple had introduced the iPad Mini 3 in 2014, there were no major improvements from predecessor model except for feature like the Touch ID fingerprint sensor and golden color option. However, the upcoming iPad Mini 4 will come out with significant enhancements, Japanese blog Macotakara reported.
The iPad Mini 4 will be thinner than 6.1 mm. The display of the tablet will be bright enough to use comfortably under direct sunlight. It will be featuring 8 MP rear camera. The device will be powered by A8 processor and will also offer 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity.
As far as the iPad Air 3 is concerned, the tablet is expected to arrive before the beginning of the forthcoming holiday shopping season. It will be featuring an improved Apple A9 chipset.
The Japanese blog also states that the Cupertino based firm will finally launch the heavily speculated 12.9-inch iPad Pro this year. It is expected to release around the end of November. However, at the beginning Apple will be manufacturing less number of iPad Pro units.
Even though the sales of iPads are plummeting consistently, Tim Cook is of the view that the in the near future the iPad sales will gain rise up, BGR reported. The new Apple tablets are expected to release during the coming fall. It seems that Apple will bring a significant update to the iPad Mini 4, and a minor update to the iPad Air 3.
