The design of both superb devices, LG G4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4, appears similar. However, its specifications and other features vary and comparison is needed to pick the best device with powerful hardware and software.
For the display, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 offers 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display. On the other hand, LG G4 display is a little bigger with .5 inch IPS Quantum. Both devices boast with the same screen resolution, 1440 x 2560 pixels. Note 4 has more angular screen, while G4 is a little bit curvy and its body appears rounded, according to Motoring Crunch.
LG G4 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset and a 64 bit six-core CPU with Adreno 418 GPU. On the other hand, Note 4 sports a 32 bit Qualcomm processor which is the Snapdragon 805, with Krait 450 CPU with four cores and an Adreno 420 GPU. Both handsets have 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD.
When it comes to battery, Note 4 offers 3200mAh and G4 is 3000mAh. Both handsets offer 16MP camera with optical image stabilization. Note 4’s camera features HDR, while G4 has the laser autofocus along with color spectrum.
Speaking of the design, LG made sure to make an impression. It sports a "SlimArc" curve which stretches over its body made of plastic. The back panel of the handset features a polycarbonate pattern that comes in three colors: white, gold, and gray. If buyers prefer leather panels, the can buy or swap the handset dyed in natural colors. On the other hand, Note 4 features a metal form sturdy frame but the other parts of its body is plastic-made. It also features a layer of faux leather on its back panel
For other features, Note 4 has an S Pen Stylus that can be used to write and draw on the screen and write accurately on the screen. The handset also features a swipe-based fingerprint scanner and LG G4 lacks this feature, Ecumenical News reported.
As per price comparison, LG G4 is cheaper than Note 4. Under two-year contract, LG G4 sells at $199 while Note 4 is $299 under the same contract.
