Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, each have a film at Venice Film Festival this year. Stewart and Pattinson are both scheduled to attend the forthcoming Venice International Film Festival starting from Sept. 2, so twihards are anticipating an attention-grabbing Robsten interaction.
During the festival Stewart appears in Drake Doremus's futuristic romance "Equals," alongside Nicholas Hoult, while Pattinson takes a lead role in Brady Corbet's "The Childhood of a Leader."
"Equals," stars Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult. It is a science fiction romantic drama film, written by Nathan Parker and directed by Drake Doremus. Set in a world without voracity, paucity, sadism, or sentiments. In a futuristic world, human emotions have been exterminated and everyone lives in harmony but after the dawn of new disease called Switched-On-Syndrome.
The disease turned on these quiescent sentiments, inculcating love, melancholy, compassion, and trepidation into those affected. The whole thing transform for illustrator Silas (Hoult as he becomes a pariah once infected and is attracted to his writer co-worker Nia (Stewart), who is also infected but covering up her condition. In order to survive, they have to getaway together.
"The Childhood of a Leader," chronicles the early days of a fascist leader during World War I. It is Corbet's feature film directorial debut. It is a historical mystery film, written, produced and directed by Brady Corbet. It is an adaptation of Jean-Paul Sartre's short story "The Childhood of a Leader," published in 1939 as a collection of short stories titled "The Wall," and John Fowles's 1965 novel "The Magus."
Their movies are listed in separate categories. Director Drake Doremus' sci-fi/saga will be featured in the Venezia 72 group, while Pattinson's period drama will debut in the Orizzonti as reported by HollywoodLife.
Although the "Twilight," stars have moved on with their lives since their breakup. Pattinson now engaged to British singer FKA Twigs and Stewart in a relationship with Alicia Cargile.
According to HollywoodLife Stewart hasn't been intentionally avoiding her ex. Stewart attended the second week of Coachella and skipped the Met Gala makes because Pattinson and FKA Twigs were present at both the events. It seems like she has been avoiding Pattinson and Twigs.
Considering the number of luminaries expected to appear at some point during the exhibition, "Twilight," heartthrobs may not be able to see each other.
