A Pratt Institute student in New York is changing the safe sex industry with her innovative latex condom which can be sprayed-on by users.
Michele Chu's "condom in a can" concept dubbed as "Girlplay" is changing the experience of love making, according to the Telegraph.
The innovative product which is being marketed as the prophylactic for modern couples who are constantly busy can be sprayed directly onto the male organ and will take just a few minutes to dry according to the publication.
The young entrepreneur is in a bid to make the product more professional has released additional innovations in her "Girlplay" range, including the first "smartbra." The "smartbra" comes equipped with a remote and with the touch of a button can unhook the garment.
Meanwhile, Chu was inspired by a sexual health teacher in Germany, Jan Vinzenz Krause who invented the first spray on condom, Daily Mail reported.
The prototype created by Krause which was released in 2008 had a plastic tube with a nozzle that sprayed the liquid latex. However, the initiative did not catch on as the spray took long to dry that kills the mood.
However, no information on removing the spray-on condom has been explained nor has Chu assured users of the condom's safety.
For the moment the "Girlplay" range of items according to the publication are design concepts, that Chu hopes will renew an interest in the project. The inventor is refining her work and is confident the intimate product range will be available to the public within a year.
