Barack Obama, just like many "Game of Thrones" viewers, expressed his grave interest on the fate of Jon Snow. The president just had a word with the show's director.
David Nutter, director of "GoT", shared during the San Diego "Game of Thrones" Comic-Con that he had met the United States President three weeks earlier. Obama, a devoted "GoT" fan, complained that Nutter keeps on ripping off his favorite characters, CNET reported.
Whether Snow is dead or alive remains a big mystery for every "Game of Thrones" fan. The season 5's finale, "Mother's Mercy," showed Snow being stabbed by his brothers in the Night's Watch. The show closed with everyone's favorite character bleeding on the icy ground.
"Jon Snow is deader than dead," Nutter replied to Obama.
Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, confirmed that his character is not coming back for the next season. However, the actor did add, "If anything in the future is not like that, then I don't know about it."
However, several circumstances give way to Jon Snow being alive.
Harrington was spotted at Belfast, where the filming of "Game of Thrones" takes place. The actor had been captured at the airport around the time the script reading and filming for "GoT" started. Harrington was reported to have been in Belfast for more than a week ruling out the possibility of him playing a dead body.
A popular theory on Jon Snow is Red Lady Melisandre's Ressurection of him. In an interview with The New Daily, Carice Van Houten, who plays Melisendre, hinted that she will do something spectacular for the next season. Fans are rooting that her statement had something to do with Snow.
Meanwhile, the San Diego Comic-con wrapped up successfully. The event was attended by Natalie Dormer playing Queen Margaery Tyrell, Sophie Turner doing Sansa Stark, and Maisie Williams acting as Arya Stark.
Other "GoT" stars on the panel include Houten, Conleth Hill, Alfie Allen, Gwendoline Christie, Liam Cunningham, John Bradley, and Hannah Murray.
