Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini is rumored to be released on Aug. 13.
The recently leaked images of the device revealed that the phone will sport a 4.7-inch display screen. It may also sport a 720 pixel display and is expected to be powered with an Exynos 7420 processor with Snapdragon 808 SoC chip set.
On the other hand, it is also be a possibility that the device may be powered with a hexa-core Snapdragon processor along with an Adreno 418 GPU. The leaked images also hinted that the device will be encased in a metal and glass combination, which was seen in the recent Samsung smartphones.
The device is expected to run on Android 5.1 Lollipop along with a RAM of 4 GB, according to GSM Arena. This combination is expected to boost up the performance of the phone exponentially. It is one of the first Samsung devices to be equipped with 4 GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini is also expected to be equipped with a loud speaker, and audio jack, and a Micro USB port, according to BGR. It may also sport a 16 megapixel rear camera with a recording capacity of 1080 pixels HD videos. The front camera will sport a 5 megapixel resolution to provide great selfies. It is also expected to be equipped with a battery capacity of 3,000 mAh.
Reportedly, Samsung will be revealing the device along with Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ in their upcoming event. It is also rumored that this phone will be priced at a slightly higher end. It is expected to be priced around $400, which is far more than what was expected for a mini model.
