A few weeks before the pre-season games start in the NBA, several stars are traveling half-way across the world to endorse their respective brands. Leading these celebrity endorsers are LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Ricky Rubio who are all scheduled to visit Asia in the following weeks.
First stop is LeBron who is scheduled to visit Manila, Philippines on August 19 for Nike. His second visit in the country, LBJ will be a guest mentor for Nike Rise, a reality TV show aimed at finding the best street ball players in the Philippines.
According to the Philippine Star, the four-time MVP will have an ope training for the "Rise" contestants at the Mall of Asia Arena on August 20.
Adidas endorser Ricky Rubio is also scheduled to visit the Philippines just days after LBJ. The Minnesota Timberwolves point guard will be arriving in the country on August 21 for a three-day series of basketball activities.
Rubio also confirmed the news on his Twitter account, adding Dubai as another stop to his International Tour.
"Happy to announce that I will be on an International Tour this August visiting the Philippines and Dubai. #RR9TOUR," the Spanish national player posted.
Finally, current NBA MVP Stephen Curry will be visiting Manila, Japan and China on September.
The star point guard of the Golden State Warriors will be touring with Under Armour to share his skills and passion to some of the best basketball fans in the world.
"Together with Under Armour, I'm looking forward to sharing my energy and commitment to basketball with the fans and basketball players in Asia who will leave their mark on the game," Curry said in a statement as noted by Rappler.
Steph will be making stops in Manila, Tokyo, Beijing, Chongqing and Shanghai.
