While the K-Pop fandom is populated by female teenagers, K-Pop also has other markets whose biases slightly differ from the trend, such as the gay community. A recent poll revealed the hottest male hallyu idols according to gay K-Pop fans who were asked to rank the male K-Pop idols in their groups.
On the Instiz poll, Yoon Doojoon got 30.7 percent of votes and Lee Kikwang bagged 29.2 percent of the votes for the members of Beast. For Infinite, Nam Woohyun dominated the poll with 21.5 percent while idol-actor L placed second with 18.6 percent. The result is surprising because L, credited at Myungsoo in his acting works, is the group's most popular member. L has portrayed numerous lead roles in various K-dramas. He is known for his prince charming appeal.
For the monster rookie group Exo, D.O. is favored by the voters who gave him 16 percent of votes the while Girls Generation Taeyon's boyfriend Baekhyun is also well loved with 13.7 percent. For another fast-rising group BTS, V came in first with 25.3 percent while Jongguk got 19.9 percent.
For the cuties of Teen Top, L.Joe was most loved by fans. He got 35.2 percent of votes while his team mate Changjo placed second with 14.6 percent.
For JYP's hot new male act Got7, Jr. got 27.2 percent of votes while JB got 25 percent. Got7's Jackson, arguably the group's most popular member surprisingly failed to get in the top two. Jackson has endless stints in variety shows and has many other solo projects. Jackson is part of the much loved "JackJi" love team which begun in the TV show "Roommate." He is even well followed in other countries. American fans lamented when he failed to join Got7 in this year's KCON in Los Angeles, Koreaboo reported.
Shinee could be the perfect group for the gay community. They have five herculean members with pretty faces. Dancing the colorful clothes, Shinee radiates so much energy on stage. Minho is the gay community's beloved member. He got 29.1 percent of the tally while Onew got 17.4 percent.
For VIXX, Hyung got the most number of votes with 30.4 percent. Ken followed with 22.8 percent. For B1A4, Baro is the favorite with 23.3 percent. Gongchan is in second place with 19.9 percent.
Big Bang, arguably Kpop's top group, is admired by the gay community for their elite fashion and high-quality music. Unsurprisingly, Big Bang's leader G-Dragon got 31 percent of the tally while Seungri bagged 18.4 percent. For B.A.P, Daehyun got 32.9 percent of the tally while Bang Yong Guk got 26 percent.
Finally, for ZE:A, Park Hyun Sik got the first place with 20.2 percent of votes while Im Siwan followed with 16.4 percent.
