Another three women were added to the 30 plus females who claim that comedian Bill Cosby sexually assaulted them. They are an actress who appeared on "The Cosby Show," a 1970s actress and an ex-American Airlines cabin crew.
However, while the number of complainants have the numbers, Cosby also has numbers on his side because statute limitations place a specific number of years that rape complaints could be filed, and 40 years is definitely way over the limit, lawyers of the comedian stated before.
But Gloria Alfred, a civil rights lawyer who represents more than 21 alleged victims of Cosby, said that the three women came out in public to support the others. She stressed, "There is no statute of limitation for free speech ... A person who alleges that she or he is a victim can speak out at any time," quotes People.
Eden Tirl, who had appeared on the iconic TV show, said that she and Cosby were locked in a dressing room in 1989 while taping for "The Cosby Show" and he raped her. Linda Ridgeway, who was in "The Mechanic" which is a 1972 film that starred the late actor Charles Bronson, accused Cosby of assaulting her in an office when the actor interviewed Ridgeway for a part.
Ridgeway recalls, "I felt Cosby's left hand gently grab my long hair behind my head, his giant frame blocked the door." She adds, "His penis was out of his pants and he shoved in into my mouth," quotes LA Times.
Ridgeway says Cosby's attack was swift with surgical precision and "When Cosby was done there was a horrible mess of semen all over my face, my clothes and in my hair."
Flight attendant Colleen Hughes said she met the actor in the 1970s during a flight to Los Angeles that led to their meeting at a hotel. He allegedly made her drink champagne that he poured into her Gucci shoes and lost consciousness. She woke up several hours after. Although Cosby had left her room, she felt there was semen on her back and other parts of her body, said Hughes who confronted him about the incident when she saw him again in another flight.
Cosby is schedule for deposition by the LA Police Department in October as part of a lawsuit filed by Judy Huth whom the comedian allegedly molested in 1974.
