"Scream: The TV Series" episode 8 titled "Ghosts" will reveal how Emma deals with the shocking death that happened in the ending scene of the previous episode titled "In the Trenches." MTV officially released the sneak peek video titled "Emma is Back" to tease that Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus) and Noah (John Karna) are looking after Emma, who is still obviously distressed with the brutal death of her ex-boyfriend Will (Connor Weil).
According to the episode synopsis in TVGuide, Emma will be shaken with the outcome of the Ghostface killer's dangerous hide-and-seek game in "Scream: The TV Series" episode 7 and she will discover another secret from the past. Emma has been uncovering secrets in the past episodes of the MTV series.
Emma is now aware that her family and friends have been keeping secrets from her. Emma found out that her mom Maggie (Tracy Middendorf) is Daisy, the woman that serial killer Brandon James was obsessed with and Will cheated on her with her friend Nina (Bella Thorne).
Brooke (Carlson Young) revealed to Emma about the bet that Will and Nina placed on her during freshman year. The revelation made Emma think that her relationship with Will was a lie.
Meanwhile, Audrey and Noah are worried in the sneak peek video about Emma's condition after Will brutally died in front of her. Audrey and Noah are stunned that Emma is back in school so soon.
Emma acts like nothing happened and her actions made Audrey and Noah worried. Audrey assures Emma that she and Noah are there for her if she needs help.
Emma insists that she is really doing fine and even told her friends that she will see them in class. However, Emma starts to panic after seeing Will's locker because it reminded her of what happened.
In an interview with E!News, Connor Weil explained that the brutal death of his character will not only affect Emma but it will also serve as a wake up call to the other characters of the MTV series.
Weil teased that the Ghostface killer is very smart and no one is really safe. Furthermore, Weil revealed that the fans will still see Will one more time in an episode even though the character's status is already deceased.
Weil described the appearance of his character as creepy. "Scream: The TV Series" will return with episode 8 titled "Ghosts" on Tuesday night, Aug. 18, at 10/9c on MTV.
