"Captain America: Civil War" trailer was launched during D23 Expo, Saturday. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Chris Evans and co-star Anthony Mackie presented the four-minute trailer.
The "Captain America: Civil War" trailer, which is not yet available online, started with Evans, Mackie and Scarlett Johansson characters taking on Crossbones, a tough adversary with a powerful punch in the middle of a crowded square somewhere, io9.com shared. The trailer also showed Iron Man and Captain America's rising philosophical rift that eventually divided the Avengers and resulted in them taking on with one another.
General Ross (William Hurt) voice over was also noticed on the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer when the Captain and his team was at the Avenger's Headquarters. The General was last seen in the second Marvel studio film, "The Incredible Hulk."
"The world owed you an unplayable debt. People see you as a hero. There are some who prefer the word vigilante-people are afraid," General Ross narrated. Steve Roger character then responds, "This job, you try to save as many as we can. Sometimes that doesn't mean everyone."
"Captain America: Civil War" storyline is more about the disagreement between Captain America and Iron Man about whether to work with the government or stay out and be independent, HNGN revealed.
Spider-Man, portrayed by Tom Holland, was not seen on the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer while Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) was present.
Marvel's Feige skipped Comic-con last month, while Evans and Mackie took the time off from the set, which is in its last week of shooting in Germany.
"Captain America: Civil War" is slated for release on May 6, 2016.
