Combats will see a major change in "Minecraft." Mojang has recently released the latest snapshot build, dubbed the "Minecraft" snapshot 15w34b, which aims to push the boundaries of how combat works.
The newest snapshot is an extension of what was introduced in the "Minecraft" snapshot 15w34a, which has started to roll out the changes in melee combat, Mojang announced via its official website.
There will be a new "attack strength" in the combat mechanic, with the promise of speedy optimizations and combat mechanics. However, the melee combat changes are not yet final, balanced or absolute, with the possibility for redesign still high. Also, maps will now start at a more useful zoom level, command blocks will have some improvement and there will be changes in the zombies.
As usual, the developer is looking forward to fan feedback and possible bugs that can be spotted in the newest snapshot build. For those who are yet to try getting the snapshots, Mojang has provided a quick guide on how to go about it via the official announcement blog.
In case players want to switch back to the normal version, this is still allowed, so long as the player backs up the world or runs the game via a different folder when trying out the build. The last command is crucial, as snapshots ca corrupt "Minecraft" worlds, so it's best to have a backup of main worlds to avoid complications.
"Minecraft" is already available for the Windows 10 via the beta edition. Release last July, the "Minecraft Windows 10 edition" beta allows PC players to upgrade for free, PC World reported. Among the new features coming include the eight-person multiplayer, connection with the "Minecraft: Pocket Edition" and in-game recording via GameDVR.
