Western Conference leader LA Galaxy (12-7-7, 43 points) will host rising team New York City FC (7-11-7, 28 points) for a Major League Soccer regular season game at the StubHub Center on Sunday.
The match features a host of global soccer stars such as Robbie Keane, Giovani dos Santos, Gyasi Zardes, and Steven Gerrard for Los Angeles and David Villa, Mix Diskerud, Andrea Pirlo, and Frank Lampard for New York that will surely entertain the fans.
Los Galácticos have won five of their last six matches to overtake the Vancouver Whitecaps in the West standings. Their last game was a 2-1 beat down of contending team FC Dallas at the Toyota Stadium, via the MLS website.
Although New York suffered three losses in their last six games, Jason Kreis' team had been impressive in their last two matches.
