“Southern Charm” season 3 may have just been cancelled for good. Bravo recently announced the network’s line up for the next season and the series is noticeably not in the list.
According to Christian Post, the fate of "Southern Charm" is still very much up in the air after Bravo failed to include the series in its list of show renewals. The publication pointed out that Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis' on and off relationship may have been a factor in the series' cancellation.
It was said that the drama surrounding Ravenel and Dennis' relationship is one of the selling points of the show. However, with the two allegedly going their separate ways, the Bravo executives had no choice but to axe the series. This did not come off as a surprise given that its ratings had been on a downward slope.
According to All About The Tea, the former politician has also compromised the integrity of the show by promising a fan a spot on the show if she would sleep with him. The outlet reported that Dennis got into the fight with the model's boyfriend when he found out what they were up to.
Early this year, Ravenel declared that he will not be returning to "Southern Charm" if the series got renewed for season 3. He claimed that the producers had lied to him a couple of times, adding that he lost his integrity because of the series. Insiders close to Ravenel dished that the reality star believed that the series would soon go off air without him and Dennis.
