With the all new season of "American Horror Story: Hotel" all set for premiere on Oct. 7, executive producer Ryan Murphy and Lady Gaga have revealed juicy details on what the latest installment has in store for the fans.
There are pseudo-vampires and gruesome murders waiting in the upcoming season, which will be in a way connected to the first season of the horror series, as the cast will go the Murder House, which was occupied by Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott's characters in the first season.
"We do go to the Murder House for one episode," Murphy told Entertainment Weekly.
Gaga, playing the role of The Countess, is the owner of the titular Hotel Cortez, who sustains on a diet of sex and blood, along with her lover Donovan (Matt Bomer) for 20 years. Though they are vampires, the Countess and Donovan, in Murphy's words, carry an "ancient blood virus" that makes them crave human blood.
"I prefer the term 'ancient blood virus,'" Murphy said. "It's not vampires. It's really a form of hemophilia in a way. There's no capes and fangs."
A new male model Tristan (Finn Wittrock) will be another lover of The Countess, who first seduces him and then turns him into another vampire. Ramona Royale (Angela Bassett) will be joining hands with Donovan for revenge on The Countess.
The all-new installment has a scarier villain - The Addiction Demon, which is a creature with no eyes or mouth, but in the vein of Rubberman or Bloodyface, PopSugar reported. Along with the new villain there is also a serial killer, Ten Commandments Killer, on the loose. John Lowe (Wes Bentley) will be moving into the hotel to investigate the series of murders.
Just like the "AHS" style, the new season will also have time jumps including flashbacks with James March (Evan Peters), the owner of the hotel from the 1930s, who built it to hide his murderous activities.
