Excited fans of the upcoming Xbox One racing video game "Forza Motorsport 6" were surprised after Microsoft recently announced that the game has gone gold which means that development is finally finished.
Microsoft announced that the game will be released on Sept. 15, while gamers who purchased the $100 Ultimate Edition can get their hands on the game as early as Sept. 10.
According to Gamespot, Microsoft is also planning to release a free "Forza Motorsport 6" demo on Sept. 1. The demo will be exclusive for the Xbox One console. The demo will include a selection of cars coming from the game's massive 460 total car collection. Despite the confirmation of the demo, Microsoft did not reveal which cars will be included on the demo.
Microsoft reveal all the 460 cars that will be included on the game's full version on the official "Forza Motorsport 6" website. The announcement reads, "Led by the awesome power of the 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S, these ten newly-announced cars bring the total car count to Forza Motorsport 6 to 460 cars, the largest number of cars ever seen at the launch of a Forza game!"
The "Forza Motorsport 6" demo will include the night racing and wet weather feature. It is also believed that the demo will run at 1080p resolution at 60 frame per second refresh rate, just like the full game. The demo version will also feature some of the game's 26 racing locations.
Gamers who will play the demo version of the game will receive a free gift in the form of the in-game Ford GT car which they can use on the game's full version. Microsoft promised that it will provide additional details about the demo version of "Forza Motorsport 6" in the coming week.
