"Dance Mom" season 5 saw Candy Apples Cathy Nesbitt-Stein leaving the show and the main question has been whether she will come back in the sixth installment.
Talking to International Business Times, Cathy not only gave reasons as to why she left "Dance Moms" in the middle of the fifth season but also indicated her desire to come back to the show.
She said that she would love coming back to the show because she enjoys her work and contribution in "Dance Moms." Her only concer was the show having been shifted to Los Angeles, which makes it difficult for her to handle her business back at home.
Cathy who has always been Abby Lee Miller's opponent appeared in "Dance Moms" season 5 for only one episode before disappearing, allowing Jeanette in charge of her dancers.
Concerning the reason why she left the show, apart from the many conflicts in "Dance Moms," Cathy said that she was just too preoccupied with her personal studio.
She said, "It was a very busy time for my studio. I had to explain to them that, you know, I also have a business and don't feel comfortable leaving my clientele with no one when I'm the one that produces the entire show. That why you didn't see me the whole back half."
However, Reality Tea noted that since she is font of enraging Miller, she may not be gone forever. Cathy herself acknowledged that she would love coming back to the show in season 6.
Cathy added that she had to send Jeanette to take care of her dancers because she was a dance teacher in addition to being in Los Angeles. According to her, it would be easier for her to return to the show if filming was brought closer home.
"Dance Moms" season 6 will premiere on Lifetime TV in the course of 2016.
