Tech company Razer recently announced that it will release a new controller called Wildcat. The $150 controller, which the company claim is tournament-grade, aims to replace the regular Xbox One controller.

Razer announced the Wildcat at the 2015 PAX event. According to Gamespot, the controller is validated by pro-gamers.

The Wildcat has four additional buttons located on the top and rear side of the device. On top of the additional buttons, the controller sports the usual buttons found on an Xbox One controller; two analog sticks, the four-directional pad, four face buttons, two should buttons and two trigger buttons.

Every button on the controller can be free bound to any input the user chooses. It also features a control panel which allow users to quickly switch between preferred profiles. The control panel buttons can be configured to be bounded to any action the user wishes.

Just like the standard Xbox One controller, the Razer Wildcat also sports a 3.5mm audio jack. When the controller ships, the package will include a carrying case, a 10-foot detachable microUSB cable. The iconic Razer logo is also stamped on the bottom right face of the controller.

Razer is a company known for its predilection towards the color green and the Wildcat is no exception to this rule. The controller sports a Mountain Dew green color which makes it well-matched with an Xbox One console.

In terms of comfort, the controller is light weight and includes rubber palm rests as well as analog stick covers that increases grip, according to Engadget. The report added that the controller will hit the market in October.
