"Divinity: Original Sin" is getting a second franchise with an extra funding from Kickstarter. The game developer Larian Studio announced on Aug. 12 that they are planning for a sequel of the game on their website. They also announced their Kickstarter campaign for additional funding to further enhance the game.
Larian Studio is confident that their plan will materialize with the finished product. They have capitalized heavily in the writing team, screenwriting and tabletop experienced, to put in the fun on this project.
"Divinity: Original Sin" game has created solid followers and supporters that their campaign has surpassed the $950,000 mark and has already unlocked 2 out 6 plans for the game, Kickstarter announced.
"Original Sin 2" will be having a more complex version of the original game that was designed as a classic RPG, top-down game, Forbes reported. A lot of emphasis will be given to creating a new world that can interact with each character. There will be new races and more freedom to choose on how to lead the game. Tabletop RPG players will surely enjoy the second game more.
"Original Sin 2's" extra funding from the Kickstarter campaign will even make it more complex. As more funds will be available, additional races can be added aside from skill crafts, competitive co-op mode and direct consequences to player actions.
"Original Sin 2" gamers can choose from four unique characters with a possibility of a fifth and diversity in terms of original stories to choose from. Every choice that a gamer does has a direct effect on the character's skill sets, objectives and interactions.
