E! aired a high-on-emotions episode of "I Am Cait" season 1 on Aug. 30, Sunday. The episode 6, aptly titled "The Dating Game," was all about dating and relationships woes of Caitlyn Jenner, who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner and her other transgender friends including Candis Cayne.
The episode began with Caitlyn learning some inside horror stories of transgender world when Candis tells her how sometime doctors take advantage of them by fondling them in the name of routine medical check-ups. Cayne recalls an old incident after which she informs Caitlyn what to expect during such procedures.
Later the two dwell on how difficult it is to date again being a transgender. Also, Caitlyn finds herself struggling with her sexual orientation as she admits that she had felt uncomfortable in the past episode when her friends took her out and she was surrounded by male dancers.
At this point, Jennifer Finney Boylan, who is known to have maintained a romantic relationship with her wife even after her transition to a woman, pays a visit to Caitlyn and counsels her that it is okay to still feel attracted to women.
The 65-year-old celebrity confides in Boylan to say that it will be nice if "a guy treats me like a woman," after which the latter warned her not to depend on men to give her self-worth considering how far she has come.
Candis opens up about her past abusive relationship and accepts that she does not have a good experience of differentiating good ones from bad ones. Both visit a matchmaker where the two are evidently uncomfortable to declare their priorties in their future partner. Meanwhile, Cailtyn is clearly getting attracted towards Cayne.
Later Cailtyn visits the kids at Camp Aranu'tiq, which is working towards the upliftment of transgender youth where she tells them it is very important to find people with whom they can identify with and be friends with them.
The episode ended on an optimistic note when Caitlyn declares that although she does not know what future beholds for her in dating scene, she certainly will not say no to everything.
