Are you looking for a tablet and do not know what tablet to buy?
Samsung recently released the Galaxy Tab S2, which is the follow up to the Galaxy S tablet. It boasts some of the latest specs in the market. It will butt heads with other tablets in the market.
Apple is also set to unveil its own iPad Air 3 tablet in October. However, the Cupertino-based tech giant has not confirmed the official specs and features of the upcoming device yet.
Below is the comparison of the rumored specs and features of iPad Air 3 against the official specifications of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.
Screen Display
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 packs 8-inches and 9.7-inches screen variants with QuadHD resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio apt for business and educational purposes. This could be similar to the upcoming iPad Air 3 coming with same, old 9.7 inch screen panel and 4:3 aspect ratio.
Processor
Samsung's latest tablet is powered by Exynos 533 octa-core processor and is expected to deliver faster and smoother performance, while the iPad Air 3 will sport A9 processor.
Operating System
It is quite a disappointment that Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was released with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box with TouchWiz on top. Meanwhile, the iPad Air 3 will run with iOS 9.
Storage
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will include 32GB or 64GB internal storage with microSD slot of up to 128GB. Taking a clue from previous iPads, the iPad Air 3 will come with 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2's 8 megapixels camera is located on the center of the top edge of the back panel similar to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's rear shooter. The camera also slightly protrudes. Both models will reportedly sport an 8 MP iSight camera at the back and 2.1 MP front-facing camera.
