Actor Matt Damon has revealed that the upcoming movie "Bourne 5" may be set in Greece and new cast members will join the film, including Julia Stiles and Tommy Lee Jones.
Damon is all set to return with the "Bourne 5" movie. Based on the life of protagonist Jason Bourne, this series is a very popular action franchise, loved across the world.
Academy award winner Paul Greengrass will be directing the 5th installment in the franchise. He oversaw the production of "The Bourne Ultimatum" and "The Bourne Supremacy," according to iDigital Times. However, the title of this movie is to be decided.
The lead actor Damon discussed about the plot of the movie in his recent interview with BuzzFeed News. He revealed that the movie will be based in Europe and will showcase the post Snowden world. He further said that many changes will also be seen in the upcoming movie.
The audiences can expect a lot about the civil liberties and spying. Damon said that the filming location of the movie is zeroed down to Greece for the moment, but it may change in the future. He also joked that the movie will end in Las Vegas.
The exact details and the plot of the movie are still under wraps. However, it is known for sure that Damon's character will not do a cross over with Jeremy Renner's Aaron Cross, who was seen in "The Bourne Supremacy." Alicia Vikander will play the female lead in the new movie.
In addition, Julia Stiles may be reprising her role of Nicky Parsons as the ex-CIA agent. A new high ranking officer will also be introduced in this movie and Tommy Lee Jones is expected to play this part.
"Bourne 5" release is scheduled on July 29, 2016.
