Tech giant Apple is expected to release its latest flagship devices in the coming week, these include the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and the Apple TV. A new photo iPhone 6S Plus' display leaked online hinting that the device will include Force Touch technology.
The Force Touch technology was first introduced by Apple on its Apple Watch smart wearable device. It is a new kind of user interface where the device can sense the force and pressure applied by the user. For devices to support this new technology, a special hardware is integrated into the device in order to sense the difference of pressure applied by the user.
According to BGR, the recently leaked iPhone 6S Plus photo shows a dissembled device that highlights the new hardware component. The upcoming iPhone 6S Plus is also believed to sport the same screen components as its predecessor.
The images was picked up by apple.club.tw and from looks of it, the leak must have originated somewhere in China.
Apple is holding a major event on Sept. 9. While the company has kept its silence about what will be announced on the event, many analysts are expecting the company to unveil its latest flagship devices. Apple is known for its regular annual schedule of releasing a new device within this time of the year.
According to MacWorld, Apple will start selling its new devices in major markets like the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom. A second launch for smaller markets is believed to be scheduled on Sept. 26.
