"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 star Candice Accola recently weighed in on rumors that her character Caroline will have a baby with Stefan (Paul Wesley) in the CW series.
In an interview with TV Line, Accola said that most of the storylines for season 7 have already been planned out. As of late, it still does not include a baby storyline for her character.
However, Accola hinted on the possibility when she said that changes can still be made to the script. The actress added that it will be better for fans to wait for executive producers Caroline Dries and Julie Plec to share their plans.
"Production has known about our exciting news and there's been a lot of support. They already know where the season was going, and it's kind of the same as every other year: We start the beginning of the season asking the writers a lot of questions about what's going to happen," she said.
Meanwhile, if a baby storyline were to be given to Accola's character Caroline, the actress that it would be an interesting twist on "The Vampire Diaries."
"They'd be very quick parents. I think with vamp speed, that would definitely help with diaper changes. I don't know if they'd compel a baby not to cry? I don't know if that's cool for vampire parents to do," she told E! News jokingly.
In other news, there is also a chance for Candice's real-life pregnancy to not be included on the show. If this were to be the case, her pregnancy needs to be kept hidden.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 8.
