New updates and features for "Star Wars Battlefront" have been revealed regarding new characters joining the roster and a rumored fake registration for the beta test.
Several reports claim that fake registration sites for the "Star Wars Battlefront" beta gameplay test begun appearing throughout the internet. EA Games community manager Matthew Everett has warned gaming fans through Reddit to avoid these fake beta sign-ups for the game as they are not officially sanctioned yet in its official website.
EA Games announced that the "Star Wars Battlefront" beta test will begin in October and players will have access to three game modes: Walker Assault, Survival Mission and Drop Zone. EA Games has not provided the exact date for the beta launch for "Star Wars Battlefront", but they were able to be quick to respond to these fake beta sign-ups in order to protect their property and the gaming fans who are eager to try it next month.
The "Star Wars Battlefront" beta will available in all gaming platforms and it does not have any pre-order requirements. EA Games and DICE will use the beta test to gather more data and will likely add several new features within the game.
Aside from the fake beta sign-ups, Perry Mitchell from Gold Coast, Arkansas has made a petition in Change.org for EA Games to reconsider adding several community servers, custom settings, player count, sever browsers, 24/7 servers and more in "Star Wars Battlefront".
EA Games and DICE have took issue on these problems several years ago as gamers were furious over the lack of sever browsers and custom settings, which is something they hope to avoid in the near future.
The number of people who have took the "Star Wars Battlefront" petition has reached over 1,507 signatures as of today.
EA Games has been thorough in promoting "Star Wars Battlefront" as the complete version will six more game modes such as Fighter Squadron, Hero Hunt, Cargo, Team Death Match and Domination.
Three Star Wars characters have already confirmed to join the game such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and Boba Fett.
Classic characters are also rumored to be playable units which include Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Emperor Palpatine, as well as, prequel characters Qui-Gon Jun, Mace Windu, Darth Maul and Starkiller.
"Star Wars Battlefront" will release on Nov. 17 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
