There have been speculations that LG Nexus 5 2015 smartphone release on Sept. 29 and an image of the final form of the device has leaked online.
LG Nexus 5 2015 will be the first smartphone to come running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. With Google launching the final beta for Android M last month, the Sept. 29 release date for the LG Nexus 5 is very likely.
However, it is not official as to whether Huawei's Nexus smartphone will be released on the same date. Although the LG Nexus 5 2015 will be launched on that date, it is anticipated that the device will not reach customers until sometime in October, Tech Radar noted.
Meanwhile, Marques Brownlee through twitter unveiled another image of the gadget leaked online with features similar to what leaked last month. The new image came from a 'trusted source' and the image shows the handset has no LG sticker and the Nexus logo is clearer. According to Techno Buffalo, the photo revealed a considerably large protruding camera at the back of the casing accompanied by a dual-tone LED flash and an alleged fingerprint sensor just below it.
According to rumors, the upcoming LG Nexus 5 2015 will sport a 5.2-inch 1080p full HD screen as opposed to the quad-core display, making the smartphone more battery friendly. Concerning internal spec, it is not clear whether the device will have a Snapdragon 808 processor or the latest 820 processor.
The smartphone is rumored to have a 13MP back camera, 2,700mAh battery, and a 3GB RAM. Based on the preinstalled Google's latest operating system Android M, the device will support a USB Type-C port.
It is believed that the smartphone will have a starting price tag of $399.
